I’m Jonathan.
I’m passionate about long distance walking and have completed many of Europe and the UK’s iconic long distance footpaths over the last 45 years.
Next year (2026) I’m planning to walk 630 miles along The South West Coast Path (SWCP). Although I’ve walked sections of it before, this will be the first time that I will attempt to complete all 630 miles of one of the world’s most iconic long distance walks.
Immortalised in Raynor Winn’s The Salt Path, I’ll be revisiting some of the places on the SWCP where my father grew up in North Cornwall during the 1930s including Polzeath, Rock and Padstow.
